angel wing stitch

I don't remember exactly where I got this one -- I found him in my plastic drawer full of crafting goodies. He's SO fuzzy and cute!

Lilo & Stitch is one of my favorite disney movies... so cute, so funny, so heartwarming!

Mickey Minifan

While away on my travels around the world, I came across this cute little fan in a little store in the Nanluoguxiang Hutong District (a.k.a. NLGX) in Beijing, China.  Isn't he so cute?!...and helpful in battling the intense heat and humidity that accompanies summers in China.

Doesn't he just look so happy and eager to help cool you off?  What a helpful Mickey, helping to make people smile across the globe.  I wish there were other characters there also, but I may have been asking for too much considering how the store lacked any sense of cohesion when it came to merchandise.  Unfortunately I didn't buy it (don't ask me why, I have no idea!) but I sure wish I had now that summer has FINALLY kicked in and really, why wouldn't I have considering I was in China and it probably cost all of $5 - probably less.  Alas, we must live with the decisions we make. :(

Regretfully wishing she had a Mickey minifan,

Cinderella Photo Stand

How did it take THIS long to feature the very cutetastic item on our blog banner? I have no idea.

I bought this a few years ago at Disneyland. I wish I would have bought all the princesses!! I don't think they sell these anymore, because I've checked the store every time since to no avail. :( Oh well..one is better than none!

The corset and the top glittery part of the dress is made of resin, and the dress is fabric.

Can't forget the glass slippers!

Disney Pook-A-Looz TOPPLER!

It was just a week ago that I learned about these brand new pook-a-looz topplers.  After I saw the announcement on their official site, I couldn't wait to see them in stores. I took home the Mickey, even though I was torn between him & Pooh.

Here he is! Found it at Toys R Us, $5.99 each.

It's so cute the way it topples!

These really are TOO cute for their own good.
I thought about getting the Pooh. And the Minnie, and the Snow White. I also saw the Spinners, Yappers, and Walkers. The Cinderella Walker was especially cute, because her little feet were clear -- she was wearing glass slippers!!

It's a World of Laughter, a World of Fears...

Hello!!  Apologies for being absent for so long, but as Tweedle K said...we have been quite busy with our own lives as of late.  I, for one, have had the opportunity to take some fabulous trips around the world but I'm back now and unfortunately have no more vacations scheduled for the rest of this year....yet ;)  I'll update soon with some things I found on my travels but wanted to share this pic with you right now because it is absolutely gorgeous and makes me miss Disneyland so much!

(Found on The Princess Blog)

Doesn't it make you wish you were on that boat right now?!  I don't remember It's a Small World looking this pretty or bright.  Have they redone it? Or is it just the lighting?  Either way, all of the vibrant colors makes me wish I could go there right this instant.  Disneyland - it has been far too long.  Tweedle K and I will most definitely have to make the 40 minute drive to the Happiest Place on Earth soon!

Peace, Love & Fillmore

Cars is one of my top 5 Disney/Pixar movies. But when I found Fillmore at Target, I knew nothing except the fact that he was the ONLY cute one in a wall of Pit Crews, Tex Dinoco, and hundreds of variations of Lightning McQueen.

Such a happy looking car. Apparently he owns an organic fuel shop - how green of him!

even his backside is cute (not quite sure if the same can be said for myself)

I bet this would be a fun car to ride

yes, his eyes DO change... from "sleepy" to awake. Hippies do tend to look content a lot.

and there he is! my newest cutetastic addition

Disney COSBABY - Toy Story series!

OK, so I wasn't going to post this until later...but the more I looked at them, the less I could resist sharing with the world!! Hot Toys have a brand new line of cosbabys for Toy Story!

Here's EMPEROR ZURG....my absolute favorite! Looks so disgruntled. I love him!

Buzz, with such a huge cranium I wonder if he'll ever be able to propel beyond infinity...

Woody, looking oh-so-chipper.

The whole gang! Some online retailers are already taking pre-orders, so search on Amazon or Google!

Disneyland Park original -- eeyore plush!

Half the fun in going to Disneyland is to go to all the stores -- especially the big gift shop on Main Street! I found this little fellow there. Granted, all Pooh merch tends to be cute but this particular Eeyore is super soft and fits on the palm of my hand :) love.

He's got a huge bobbly head. I prop him on top of my dresser but sometimes I find that he has face-planted because his head is so large.

I especially love his unevenly floppy ears :)

Eeyore wouldn't be Eeyore without that bow on his tail!

Until our next cutetastic find... over & out!

Eric Tan

Hello, World! Sorry we've been so MIA. Both Tweedle D & I have been busy with our regular lives, but worry no more! We are back.

This is a piece by Eric Tan, who I've loved ever since I found his work online. He's a San Diego native who does amazing art like this Sleeping Beauty print -- he's done a lot of other Disney art too, inspired by Disney/Pixar's UP, the Incredibles, and Wall-E.

You can check out his blog here -- lots of good stuff!
