Noko Noko Friends - Mickey Mouse Christmas charm

Happy almost Holidays!

Hope everyone is trucking through these last few days before Christmas -- here in LA, the rain has been non-stop for 3 days.  Let me just tell you, rain has a crippling effect on LA.  First droplet of water on the pavement and everyone forgets how to drive, no one wants to step foot outside, and the city shuts down.

To bring a little bit of winter coziness to cutetastic, here's a Christmas Mickey Mouse charm.

He's in a santa outfit and a scarf to keep him warm :)

Merry Christmas from Cutetastic!

we're alive! Mickey & Minnie Christmas Plush

Hello, world!!! WOW, it's been a while. Sorry for the sudden disappearance!

Ahh, Christmas shopping. How I both hate and loathe thee. Getting smushed by crowds on all sides, the snaking line to the register...all the while trying to stay in good cheer.
The new Disney Store at the renovated Santa Monica Place is amazing. There's a miniature Princess Castle and multiple big screens, the staff is ridiculously friendly (what do they feed them?!), and the place is always fully stocked.

Came home with these cutetastic suckers cuz they were on sale for $5!

How cute are they?! I love the rosy cheeks!

..and their crooked smile

Happy Holidays everyone! :)

Princess Post-Its

Two of the things in this world that I love are Disney princesses and office supplies.  So how perfect is it that I found princess post-its with Belle and Cinderella on them?!?!  PERFECT, I say! :)

It came in a 2-pack like this at the 99 cent store!!!  Yes, I got these when I got the Winnie the Pooh stapler also :)

Belle is my absolute favorite princess so how in love with these post-its do you think I am?!  SO MUCH.  So much that I never want to use them.  She's just so pretty and cute in her corner!

Sorry!  Cinderella didn't come out as clear as Belle did but you can still tell that she's cute too!  The stacks don't come with too many pages but for $1 for both, I'd say it's a pretty good deal and I will gladly settle for it.

Lilo & Stitch...but mostly Stitch...Notepad

A couple of years ago, Tweedle K was in Japan teaching English and sent me a care package with tons of super cute stuff!  Included in the box, was this little Lilo & Stitch notepad.

You can't really tell, but the cover is clear/holographic with just the characters on it and select flowers.

And here are just some of the different pages inside!  There was way more variety than just these four pages but these were some of my faves.  I love having notepads!  They're so useful but it makes me sad to use it when the pages are as cute as these!

Thanks Tweedle K! ....and if you couldn't tell already, she LOVES Stitch!  and who wouldn't?  He's so cute in a crazy, I wish I had one but he'd probably drive me mad, kind of way!

Disney Pixar Cars Chuki

Sorry for the brief hiatus, disney lovers!

I have a new addition to the Disney Pixar Cars family -- and it's so perfectly cute.

Introducing Chuki, the pink car with the googly eyes:

Isn't she the cutest?! Chuki made a brief appearance on the feature film as a Japanese TV news reporter on a segment covering the disappearance of Lightning McQueen.

Backside...

...and side view. She's not a powerhouse like Lightning McQueen, but I bet Chuki can out-cute any of the other Cars collections!

Here she is on the paackage

And with Fillmore, her cutetastic buddy!

Happy Friday everyone!

Oogie Boogie plush from Nightmare Before Christmas!

It'll be October tomorrow, which means Halloween is right around the corner!

I found this small Ooogie Boogie plush a few years ago at a small toy shop in LA. So cute! I could not resist.

You know they did a good job when they take a monster villain and make it super cute!!!

happy october,

Pooh & Piglet mini stickers

Today, I used a mini decal-ish sticker I had of Pooh & Piglet and added them to my nails. The yellow on the pinky is for a pot of honey :) Anything tiny = cutetastic!!

bo peep & sheep

I loved all three Toy Story movies, but I was so sad that Bo Peep's role was cut from the last one! I suppose she was outshone by Barbie.

She's so cute though! With her big pink bonnet and polka dotted dress :)

Even the little sheep is cute! Despite the freaky 3 heads.

stitch expression stickers

Just look at these stickers!! Aren't they the cutest?! I love stickers that don't have that white border.. you can stick 'em anywhere and it looks like a tattoo.

I know it's hard to tell from the first picture, but these are teeny tiny. Which makes them about 100 times cuter.

Confession: I've had these for years. But  I just can't get myself to use any of them. They look so cute, all of them together!

angel wing stitch

I don't remember exactly where I got this one -- I found him in my plastic drawer full of crafting goodies. He's SO fuzzy and cute!

Lilo & Stitch is one of my favorite disney movies... so cute, so funny, so heartwarming!

Mickey Minifan

While away on my travels around the world, I came across this cute little fan in a little store in the Nanluoguxiang Hutong District (a.k.a. NLGX) in Beijing, China.  Isn't he so cute?!...and helpful in battling the intense heat and humidity that accompanies summers in China.

Doesn't he just look so happy and eager to help cool you off?  What a helpful Mickey, helping to make people smile across the globe.  I wish there were other characters there also, but I may have been asking for too much considering how the store lacked any sense of cohesion when it came to merchandise.  Unfortunately I didn't buy it (don't ask me why, I have no idea!) but I sure wish I had now that summer has FINALLY kicked in and really, why wouldn't I have considering I was in China and it probably cost all of $5 - probably less.  Alas, we must live with the decisions we make. :(

Regretfully wishing she had a Mickey minifan,

Cinderella Photo Stand

How did it take THIS long to feature the very cutetastic item on our blog banner? I have no idea.

I bought this a few years ago at Disneyland. I wish I would have bought all the princesses!! I don't think they sell these anymore, because I've checked the store every time since to no avail. :( Oh well..one is better than none!

The corset and the top glittery part of the dress is made of resin, and the dress is fabric.

Can't forget the glass slippers!

Disney Pook-A-Looz TOPPLER!

It was just a week ago that I learned about these brand new pook-a-looz topplers.  After I saw the announcement on their official site, I couldn't wait to see them in stores. I took home the Mickey, even though I was torn between him & Pooh.

Here he is! Found it at Toys R Us, $5.99 each.

It's so cute the way it topples!

These really are TOO cute for their own good.
I thought about getting the Pooh. And the Minnie, and the Snow White. I also saw the Spinners, Yappers, and Walkers. The Cinderella Walker was especially cute, because her little feet were clear -- she was wearing glass slippers!!

It's a World of Laughter, a World of Fears...

Hello!!  Apologies for being absent for so long, but as Tweedle K said...we have been quite busy with our own lives as of late.  I, for one, have had the opportunity to take some fabulous trips around the world but I'm back now and unfortunately have no more vacations scheduled for the rest of this year....yet ;)  I'll update soon with some things I found on my travels but wanted to share this pic with you right now because it is absolutely gorgeous and makes me miss Disneyland so much!

(Found on The Princess Blog)

Doesn't it make you wish you were on that boat right now?!  I don't remember It's a Small World looking this pretty or bright.  Have they redone it? Or is it just the lighting?  Either way, all of the vibrant colors makes me wish I could go there right this instant.  Disneyland - it has been far too long.  Tweedle K and I will most definitely have to make the 40 minute drive to the Happiest Place on Earth soon!

Peace, Love & Fillmore

Cars is one of my top 5 Disney/Pixar movies. But when I found Fillmore at Target, I knew nothing except the fact that he was the ONLY cute one in a wall of Pit Crews, Tex Dinoco, and hundreds of variations of Lightning McQueen.

Such a happy looking car. Apparently he owns an organic fuel shop - how green of him!

even his backside is cute (not quite sure if the same can be said for myself)

I bet this would be a fun car to ride

yes, his eyes DO change... from "sleepy" to awake. Hippies do tend to look content a lot.

and there he is! my newest cutetastic addition

Disney COSBABY - Toy Story series!

OK, so I wasn't going to post this until later...but the more I looked at them, the less I could resist sharing with the world!! Hot Toys have a brand new line of cosbabys for Toy Story!

Here's EMPEROR ZURG....my absolute favorite! Looks so disgruntled. I love him!

Buzz, with such a huge cranium I wonder if he'll ever be able to propel beyond infinity...

Woody, looking oh-so-chipper.

The whole gang! Some online retailers are already taking pre-orders, so search on Amazon or Google!

Disneyland Park original -- eeyore plush!

Half the fun in going to Disneyland is to go to all the stores -- especially the big gift shop on Main Street! I found this little fellow there. Granted, all Pooh merch tends to be cute but this particular Eeyore is super soft and fits on the palm of my hand :) love.

He's got a huge bobbly head. I prop him on top of my dresser but sometimes I find that he has face-planted because his head is so large.

I especially love his unevenly floppy ears :)

Eeyore wouldn't be Eeyore without that bow on his tail!

Until our next cutetastic find... over & out!
